G is for Girls

Today's post is about Girls.
Two particular girls. MINE !

If you ever wondered about my internet names all including RJR its the initials of my three children, in age order.

The girls are Rachel and Ruth, currently aged 18 and nearly 14.

Of course I am biased but they are the best daughters you could want, apart from the occasional argument about tidying up and washing the dishes they don't give us any trouble. They share a bedroom and generally get along. Its not hard to find pictures of them together. I got three of the ones below from their Facebook albums.

Rachel, the eldest is about to leave college and start a degree in maths, Ruth is still at High school and is just as bright. Although they can both be quite dippy. Rachel especially has several "blonde" moments each day!

Both girls play in weekly Netball leagues and one night a week play on the same team together. Rachel nearly always plays as a Goal Keeper and Ruth is used in different defensive and attacking roles.

The next picture was taken this year at Rachel's 18th Birthday party.

Am I a proud Dad .... Of course, who wouldn't be.
Do I trust them.. Yes, they have chosen to live life being the best they can be and help each other to do just that.

One of the only regrets in my life was not having a daughter, but that was solved when these two came along! How good is that, such lovely beautiful girls, and the lad's not bad either!.
